Course Overview

This intensive course will certify your knowledge of various financial analysis terms and techniques employed in the financial engineering process. The major focus of the course is Equity Indexed Annuity ('EIA') crediting methods and the underlying investments that generate the returns (e.g. interest crediting) of these special fixed annuities.

The course will also certify your knowledge of how to use the EIA in financial planning and as a part of an overall portfolio. At the end of the program, through utilizing the MCP Premium EIA software program, you will learn to prepare a comprehensive EIA financial analysis for a sample client.

Successful completion of this course, the exam, and your agreement to adhere to our Code of Ethics allows you to use to designation of "Equity Indexed Annuity Specialist" and its logo.

Approved for 5.5 CE credit hours from the CFP® Board and for PACE Recertification credit.

Prerequisites

Current life insurance license, in good standing with your licensed States. Experience with MCP Suite 2007 Basic software and a basic knowledge of equity indexed annuities in general will be helpful.
