About Association IFS
Why the Association?
Founded in 2006 by
Premium
Producers Group, LLC as a venue for specialized education in the financial services
industry, Association IFS chose to focus first on the field in
greatest need of in-depth, academic education: the equity indexed
annuity industry. The Association is currently the only organization
conferring an 'EIA Specialist' designation. A second designation,
Personal Retirement Planning Specialist, was released in 2007.
Designees are required to complete the
comprehensive, academic coursework, pass an exam, and must agree to abide by a Code of
Professional Ethics. Other specialist programs are planned for 2008.
